Indian Navy has released a total of 372 posts for the INCT Chargeman, out of which 216 posts are reserved for General caste candidates, 74 posts for OBC, 25 Posts for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 42 posts for Schedule Cast (SC) and 15 Posts for Schedule Tribe (ST).
Candidates can apply for the INCT Chargeman post on the basis of their categories and candidates are also required to submit the required documents in the further recruitment process.
Age Limit, Relaxation – Join Indian Naval Civilian Entrance Test INCT Chargeman-II Exam 2023
- Age limit to Join Indian Navy is between 18-25 years
- The permissible age relaxation for below categories:

Indian Navy offers age relaxation for the specific categories, the relaxation is provided for some categories which are beyond the defined age limit. For INCT Chargeman post, candidates who belonged to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) were provided an age relaxation of 5 years, and other backward classes (OBC) were provided an age relaxation of 3 years. Candidates from PwBDs categories have other provisions for age relaxations, the general candidates from this category will get an age relaxation of 10 years, other backward classes (OBC) candidates will get 13 years of age relaxation, and the candidates who belonged to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) will get age relaxation of 15 years. If any candidates who are an employee of the central government or candidates from a department and have an experience of 3 years will get an age relaxation of 5 years. The candidates who worked in defence and in the war or on duty got physically disabled will get an age relaxation, the defence disable person who falls under the general category will get an age relaxation of 3 years and those from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) will get an age relaxation of 8 years. For the domicile of Jammu and Kashmir candidates, Indian Navy has made a provision where the candidates who are domicile of Jammu and Kashmir between 1st Jan 1980 to 31st December 1989, will get an age relaxation of 5 years.
