The Pahalgam Terror attack by the terror group of Pakistan killed innocents on the Indian soil. The attack raged anger among Indian citizens and demanded a justice from the Indian government.
India planned a surgical operation named, Operation Sindoor, which aims to destroy terror camps affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM). India’s defense force (Airforce, Army and Navy) conducted a successful operation and knock down infrastructure of nine terror sites without any civilian casualties. These terror sites are situated in Pakistan (nearly 100km from PoK) and served as launchpads for Pahalgam terror attack. This act of justice and well executed operation show the capabilities of Indian Intelligence ant its commitment towards Zero tolerance toward terrorism.
The Operation Sindoor is a strong message to Pakistan that Indian won’t tolerate any act of terrorism. It shows India’s commitment for “zero tolerance to terrorism” policy. Every Indian citizen feel pride that the Operation Sindoor joins global legacy of counterterrorism operations.

Israel: Operation Spring of Youth (1973)
The operation was retaliation for the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre where 11 Israeli’s athletes and coaches were brutally murdered. The eight members of Palestinian group, Black September, took them as hostage. The terrorist group killed hostages during an attempt of rescue by Israeli forces. In response to such brutal act of terrorism, Operation Spring of Youth was launched in 1973 from April 9th to 10th in Lebanon. The Israeli special forces attacked Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) based in Beirut and Sidon. The operation was a success and killed the targeted senior PLO Officials: Kamal Adwan, Mohammed Youssef Najjar and Kamal Nasser.
Israel: Operation Entebbe (1976)
A rescue mission to free 106 Jewish and Israeli’s hijacked plane from Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – External Operations (PFLP-EO) and the German Revolutionary Cells. On June 27, 1976, Air France Flight 139 from Tel Aviv to Paris was hijacked, in retaliation Israel conducted Operation Entebbe. On July 3rd & 4th, 1976, Israeli commandos conducted operation at Entebbe Airport in Uganda. Israeli transport planes flew 100 commandos to Uganda and rescued hostages.
US: Operation Infinite Reach (1998)
On August 7, 1998, US embassies in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, targeted and killed by al-Qaeda. Operation Infinite Reach was codename for American cruise missile strikes on al-Qaeda bases. The operation was launched on August 20,1998 and the US Navy targeted the al-Shifa pharmaceutical factory in Khartoum, and Sudan. The terrorist camps based in Khost, Afghanistan was blasted, and infrastructure around the camp was bombed.
Russia: Operations in Chechnya and Georgia (2002)
Chechen separatist terrorism whose safe place was Georgia’s Pankisi Gorge, carried out brutal attacks on Russia. The most brutal attacks of these separatists were 1999 Apartment Bombing and 2002 Moscow theatre hostage crisis. In retaliation Russia conducted air strikes on Chechen separatist’s safe heaven Georgia. Russia blamed Georgia for sheltering terrorist in their soil and permitting flow of materials and fighters across border.
Colombia: Operación Fénix (2008)
An operation against Marxist guerrilla group, known as Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). FARC commander Raúl Reyes, operated from a camp, Sucumbios Province, Ecuador’s border. The FARC terrorist bombed, kidnapped, and assassinate people and they get funds from drug trafficking and ransom from hostages. On March 1, 2008, Colombia Military launched Operación Fénix (Operation Phoenix) against FARC camp. The operation successfully targeted and killed the high-rank commander Raúl Reyes.
US: Operation Neptune Spear (2011)
The operation carried out in response to deadliest attack in the history of US that killed around 3000 people on September 11, 2001. The attack was planned by al-Qaeda leader, Osama-bin-laden. In the attack the planes targeted the World Trade Center Towers in New York City, Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and United Airlines Flight 93. On May 2, 2011, United Stated launched Operation Neptune Spear, 120 miles (approx.) inside Pakistan territory. In this operation SEAL Team Six attacked Osama-Bin-Laden at his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The operation was successful, and the mastermind of 9/11 killed by US.
